Quilts
Bethany Quilt Tyers hand make quilts for relief efforts world wide. They meet every Thursday at 1pm throughout the year to tie the quilts. In September Bethany, blesses the quilts before sending them to Lutheran World Relief share God’s love, both here in the United States and all around the World. The Quilt Tyers welcome anyone of any experience level to come and help. If you are interested in helping out, you are welcome to attend, Thursday at 1pm, or contact Pat Krieger.
Health Kits
Lutheran World Relief health kits help refugees maintain personal hygiene while children, men and women live in exile. They also contribute to a new start for those who return home.
Health kit bags will be out in the fellowship hall starting Sunday May 18th. Bethany is asking its congregation to take a bag, and fill it with a wide tooth comb, a metal nail clipper with attached file, a pair of 4-5oz soap bars (in their original wrapping) and return them to the church.
School Kits
Beginning in July, Bethany will begin putting together school kits for children in need. Stay tuned for more details.
